Critical illness:

Critical illness insurance pays out a tax-free lump sum to an employee if they should suffer from one of the specific illnesses or injuries listed on the policy. The illnesses listed vary between policies, and some can be limited. So, for example, will only pay if an accident results in the loss of two limbs – rather than just one.
