Online training provider Ufi has been awarded the NAPF's Quality Mark Plus (PQM Plus) for its group-stakeholder pension plan.

Ufi's consultant, Capita Hartshead, led the process, working in partnership with the plan's providers: Friends Provident and Ufi.

Tony Barnard, account director at Capita Hartshead, said: 'Ufi shows the same level of commitment to governance of its contract-based pension plan as is required from occupational-scheme trustees.

'This is evidenced by the high level of member engagement, with just less than 90 per cent of employees having joined,' he added.

The NAPF Quality Mark is awarded to defined-contribution pension arrangements, both trust and contract-based, that meet certain standards.

Schemes are judged on their contribution basis, governance and member communication.
