PMI to run Basell's occupational health

Basell Polyolefins UK, which produces polypropylene and polyethylene resins, has selected PMI Health Group's occupational-health services.
PMI will advise and support Basell on a range of employee healthcare matters, from pre-employment medicals to absence management.
Basell Polyolefins UK, part of the global Lyondellbasell group, employs a 150-strong workforce at its Manchester-based petrochemical plant.
Peter Webb, a manager of Basell Polyolefins UK, said: 'We want to ensure, for example, that all pre-employment medicals meet the required standards for the business, and that members of staff returning to work following periods of sickness absence are not at risk of aggravating their condition or recovery.
