Virgin Experience Days has introduced the Fast Asleep Bed Tour, a few laps on the quickest street legal bed.

According to the company, this latest experience is suitable for employee benefits managers looking for a quirky way to motivate staff.

The experience involves heading out onto public roads for a five-mile adventure tour, tucked up under a duvet.

The vehicle is chauffeur driven through British countryside.

Part of the Worlds Wackiest Racers experience - priced at GBP99 - participants can also race round a track on the world's fastest 87mph sofa or double-decker car as seen on the BBC's Top Gear.

Also available from Virgin Experience Days is the World's Hottest Desk experience.

Jackets and ties are provided for this chauffeured trip in a fully equipped office for three laps around the super-fast raceway.

Strapped into an office chair, participants will have full use of the computers, conference table and water cooler.

At the end of the experience, participants can take a break in the Wacky Race Movie Theatre and collect their certificates.
